ASEMIC WRITING

For my PhD I am currently exploring the use of asemic writing to document my emotional responses to women-led British horror films c.2000 – c.2023. The pieces below were created in response to the first five scenes of Jelly Dolly – a 2004 body horror directed by Susannah Gent.

ERASURE

“Corrections”: A series of poems made using pages from Sigmund Freud’s 1905 case study, A Case of Hysteria, and Charles Darwin’s 1871 book, The Descent of Man, and Selection in Relation to Sex. Fine art prints are available on request. Please use the contact form to request a quote.
